Four Winds Equine Massage is dedicated to the peace, health, and harmony of all 4 leggeds and their 2 legged
companions.   We are located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country near Kerrville, Texas.  

Donna-Michelle Werner is Certified in Equine Structural Massage Therapy.  She has been actively participating in equine massage therapy since 2003.  She is also a Certified Herbalist and often creates herbal remedies to assist her equine clients in their recovery.  Her work in equine massage led her to begin a horse rescue and rehabilitation organization for special needs horses.  As a result, she has worked with many, many horses with a great variety of injuries and health issues.

Packages Available:

Corrective and Structural Massage

Minimum of 3 sessions.  The first session is $75.  Subsequent sessions are $50 each.  These fees do not include trip charges if applicable.  Each session must be scheduled within two weeks of the prior session.  If scheduled greater than two weeks, the subsequent session will be $75.  Fees for the initial three session package are due at the time of the initial session.

Maintenance and Relaxation Massage

After the horse is rebalanced and the corrective issues have been addressed, it is often advisable to continue with maintenance massages.  Maintenance massages should be performed every two to four weeks to be beneficial.  Each session is $50 plus travel fees if applicable.

Sports Massage

Sports massages begin at $75 per session plus travel fees if applicable.  Multiple horse discounts may be available.

Travel fees are $50 for travel over 2 hours.  This may be waived for multiple horse sessions.


On-Site Rehabilitation and Massage Retreat Packages:

This package is personalized to fit the rehabilitation needs of your horse.  It includes boarding, massage sessions, rehabilitation sessions, and appropriate turnout.  This package is perfect for those horse owners who are unable to meet follow-up massage sessions and ensure that their horse receives the recommended rehabilitation exercises and stretches, and recommended turnout time following massage sessions.  As these packages are highly individualized with your horse's needs in mind, the rates vary.  Please call for a consultation so that we can determine the best route for your horse.
